General Questions

Finovest is a premium personal financial consulting firm offering wealth management, investment planning, retirement planning, and tax optimization. We assign a dedicated advisor who crafts a personalized financial roadmap based on your goals and risk tolerance, with ongoing monitoring and support.

Simply book a free consultation through our website. During this session, we'll discuss your financial situation, goals, and concerns. From there, we'll outline a tailored plan and recommend the appropriate services. There's no obligation, and you'll leave with actionable insights.

Absolutely. All our services are available both in-person and via secure video conferencing. Many of our clients prefer the convenience of virtual meetings. You can schedule a virtual consultation directly on our booking page.

We are a fee-only fiduciary, meaning we are compensated directly by our clients—not through commissions or product sales. This ensures our advice is always in your best interest. Fees are transparent and based on assets under management or a flat project rate, depending on the service.

Wealth Management

We typically work with clients who have at least $250,000 in investable assets. However, we also offer tailored solutions for young professionals and entrepreneurs on a strong wealth-building path. Contact us to discuss your specific situation—we may be able to accommodate you.

We manage stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, real estate investment trusts, private equity, and alternative investments. We also coordinate with your 401(k), IRA, trusts, and pension plans to create a unified wealth strategy.

We recommend quarterly review meetings at minimum. Many clients prefer monthly check-ins. You'll also have direct access to your advisor via phone and email, plus monthly performance reports and an annual strategy session.

Investment Planning

We use a detailed questionnaire combined with a personal conversation to assess your financial situation, investment experience, time horizon, and emotional comfort with market fluctuations. This creates a comprehensive risk profile that guides your portfolio construction.

We work with clients starting at $10,000 in investable assets. For those beginning their investment journey, we offer low-cost ETF portfolios and automated plans. As your wealth grows, we add more sophisticated strategies.

We primarily use low-cost ETFs and index funds for core exposure, supplemented with individual stocks, bonds, and alternative investments when appropriate. Our focus is on cost efficiency, diversification, and long-term performance—not speculation.

Retirement Planning

The best time to start is now. Whether you're 25 or 55, we create a plan that matches your timeline. Early planning leverages compound growth; later planning focuses on catch-up contributions and strategic asset allocation to make up for lost time.

Yes. We analyze your health, life expectancy, spousal benefits, and other income sources to determine the optimal claiming strategy. Delaying benefits can often add hundreds of thousands to your lifetime income, and we'll show you exactly how.

Absolutely. We work with clients pursuing FIRE at any age. This requires aggressive savings rates, Roth conversion ladders, and careful management of healthcare before Medicare eligibility. We'll build a custom plan to help you reach financial independence faster.

Tax Consulting

Strategic tax planning identifies legal deductions, credits, and timing strategies you might miss. It involves structuring your finances—retirement contributions, entity choice, investment location—to minimize your lifetime tax bill, not just this year's return.

Yes. Our Enrolled Agents and CPAs have unlimited representation rights before the IRS. We handle audits, appeals, and collections. If we prepared your return, representation is included at no additional charge under our audit guarantee.

CPAs are state-licensed accountants who may specialize in taxes. Enrolled Agents (EAs) are federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize exclusively in taxation with unlimited practice rights before the IRS. Our team includes both, giving you comprehensive expertise.
